It all started with an intriguing thrift shop find - a drill from 1964 made by Hema. The “Exploded view” research technique in combination with post-humanistic ideas made it possible to reconsider the “interface” of the tool.
This project’s main inspiration was work of Stelarc, who looks into different ways of enhancing the original human body architecture.
